Designer Anna Efverlund

"Full steam ahead for the squiggly lines" Words by Anna Efverlund, the designer of the pattern on KLIPPBRÄCKA cushion cover, duvet cover set and pre-cut fabric in the Nytillverkad collection − or MODIG KORN as it was first called when launched in our 1997 children's range. Back then the pattern was in colour and resembled popcorn. Anna, who worked at IKEA from 1980-2014, was inspired by cartoons when creating the pattern. "It felt like being in a cartoon when I drove around in my caravan decorated with this fabric."
